Airport Operations

The Airport Operations department keeps operations at our airports running smoothly through planning, organization and supervision.

Job overview and responsibilities

• Checking-in and processing of passengers and baggage onto flights
• Ensuring that passengers are in possession of valid documentation for travel
• Meeting and boarding flights, assisting passengers wherever required
• Assigned other duties in Customer Services and when required to meet operational demands ensuring the smooth running
• Professional service to our customers, both internal and external

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

 Required 

• High School Diploma or equivalent school leaving certificate
• At least 1 year customer facing experience in airline, travel, or hospitality industry
• Confident communication skills
• A proven record of reliability
• Professional image and appearance
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and, when necessary, available 7 days a week / 24 hours a day, including holidays and weekends, to deal with any operational and / or unforeseen situations
• Must be fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
• Keyboard Skills
• Must be legally authorized to work Japan for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in SHARES system
